Serratia Microorganisms

Serratia refers to a genus of bacteria that can cause medical concerns such as hospital-acquired infections, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and endocarditis. Serratia marcescens, for instance, can cause peritonitis, urinary, biliary, and respiratory tract infections as well as wound and intravenous catheter-related infections.

ZeptoMetrix offers Serratia organisms, including but not limited to Serratia liquefaciens and Serratia marcescens. Our Serratia products, such as DNA and live organisms, can be used for assay development and other laboratory applications.
