IMMUNO-TEK™ Guinea Pig IgG ELISA (96 Determinations)

Designed for the measurement of guinea pig IgG in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. IMMUNO-TEK™ Guinea Pig IgG ELISA Kit features microplate wells coated with polyclonal antibodies to guinea pig IgG to form the capture phase of the assay. Captured guinea pig IgG in the well is incubated with detector antibody, a polyclonal anti-guinea pig IgG conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). This antibody reacts only to the Fc portion of the immunoglobulin molecule allowing for the specific detection of IgG. Once the chromogenic substrate tetramethyl benzidine (TMB) is added, a blue color develops in proportion to the amount of guinea pig IgG that has been bound to the antibody-coated plate. Addition of stop solution results in a color change to yellow which can be measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The concentrations of guinea pig IgG are then calculated from a standard curve. What's included: One 96-well microplate, 12 mL bottle of detector antibody, 7 mL bottle of guinea pig IgG standard, 100 mL bottle of assay diluent (125 mL) bottle of 10x plate wash buffer, 12 mL bottle of substrate, 12 mL bottle of stop solution, 10 microplate sealers, and a plastic storage bag.
