Description
This product is intended to aid laboratories in the evaluation of nucleic acid tests designed to detect certain portions of the Monkeypox virus genome. Monkeypox virus stock provides laboratories with a targeted, reliable control for PCR testing. It is the only ready-to-use, full-process molecular control for Monkeypox.
Recombinant Monkeypox stock is formulated with purified, intact bacterial cells containing synthetic Monkeypox virus sequence to a target concentration of 1,000,000 cp/mL. The sequence includes portions of the E9L, G2R, B2R, and C3L gene regions, and the cells have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator-stable.
- Organisms are chemically modified to render them noninfectious
- Refrigerator stable—store between 2 and 8°C
