West Nile Virus (Strain: NY 2001-6263) is an enveloped icosahedral Flavivirus that contains positive-sense, single-stranded, linear RNA. This West Nile virus was collected from a human cerebrospinal fluid specimen in September of 2001 from Nassau County, NY**; NCBI GenBank Accession No. AF533540.

Each frozen aliquot contains 1 mL of titered viral culture fluid.
