SARS-CoV-2 isolate USA/NY-Wadsworth-23067147-
01/2023 was collected in November 2023 in New
York, USA. Under the nomenclature system
introduced by GISAID (Global Initiative on Sharing All
Influenza Data), SARS-CoV-2, isolate USA/NY-Wadsworth-23067147-01/2023 is assigned lineage
JG.3. The complete genome of USA/NY-Wadsworth-23067147-01/2023 has been sequenced (GISAID:
EPI_ISL_18699678).
Each frozen aliquot contains 1 mL of heat inactivated
viral culture fluid. The pre-inactivation titer was
determined from an infectious aliquot.
Viral inactivation is verified after heat inactivation by
the absence of viral growth in tissue culture-based
infectivity assays.
