Western Blots
ZeptoMetrix Western Blots
Western blotting (or immunoblotting) is a widely used method for protein detection, using antibody-based probes to obtain specific information about target proteins from complex samples. The Western blot is more of a qualitative method, sometimes as semi-quantitative.ZeptoMetrix Western Blot Kits* are qualitative enzyme immunoassays that allow for the detection of IgG antibodies in serum or plasma. Simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) kits include strips (10 or 30), non-reactive control, reactive control, blotting buffer, 20x wash buffer, conjugate, substrate, blotting powder, and incubation trays. Our SIV and Zika virus Western Blot strips are also available for researchers to use in their customized assays.
