ZeptoMetrix Official Rules for Complementary Gift Card or Charitable Donation for Survey Response Promotion

  • Potential participants will be notified of the Promotion via email.
  • In order to participate, participants must provide responses to a survey containing questions regarding customer satisfaction, future product needs, and behavior (where the participant goes for news, industry conferences attended, etc.). Responses must be received during the Promotion Term (defined below).  Responses will be reviewed and used internally only.  Any personal information provided by participants will be used only for this purpose.
  • The Promotion will be in effect and will be applicable to survey responses received by ZeptoMetrix from October 1, 2025 through October 31, 2025 (the “Promotion Term”).
  • Participants who provide a response to the survey during the Promotion Term will be entitled to, at the participant’s option: (i) receive a $25 Amazon gift card, (ii) a $25 charitable donation made to the American Society of Microbiology, (iii) a $25 charitable donation made to Habitat for Humanity or (iv) none of the above.
  • ZeptoMetrix reserves the right to extend or terminate this Promotion at any time.
  • Employees of ZeptoMetrix and its parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies and each such employee’s spouse, domestic partner, parent, grandparent, children, siblings and their spouses and persons living in the same household (whether related or not) are ineligible to participate.
  • Each participant must be at least the minimum age required to participate in promotions such as this in the country in which the participant resides.  Each participant must be a citizen of the U.S.A., the U.K. or an EU member country.  Citizens of other countries are not eligible to participate.
  • The Promotion is subject to and governed by all applicable laws. This promotion is void where prohibited by law.
  • ZeptoMetrix’s decisions are final on all matters relating to this Promotion. Use of ZeptoMetrix’s sites and ZeptoMetrix’s use of information submitted by participant in connection with this Promotion will be subject to the terms and conditions stated in these Official Rules as well as to ZeptoMetrix’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy (https://www.zeptometrix.com/us/en/privacy_policy) available on ZeptoMetrix’s website.
  • Participants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of ZeptoMetrix, which are final, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these Official Rules. Participants agree that any and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, U.S.A.
  • PARTICIPANTS HEREBY AGREE TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS ZEPTOMETRIX AND ITS PARENT COMPANIES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND SHAREHOLDERS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASEES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, ACTIONS, INJURIES, LOSSES, EXPENSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION OR FROM THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, OR USE OR MISUSE OF A COMPLEMENTARY GIFT CARD OR CHARITABLE DONATION. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THAT APPLIES TO ALL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) COMPENSATORY, DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, INCOME, OR PROFIT; LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY; AND CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES. PARTICIPANTS AGREE THAT RELEASEES HAVE NOT MADE NOR ARE IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE PROMOTION OR THE COMPLEMENTARY GIFT CARD OR CHARITABLE DONATION. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, RELEASEES DO NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS WITH RESPECT TO ANY PROMOTIONAL WEB SITE OR THE PROMOTION AND RELEASEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY INTERRUPTIONS OR ERRORS RELATED THERETO.
  • Releasees are not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, inability to access a website, inability to submit an entry, or fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions or inaccurate transcription of entry information, whether caused by ZeptoMetrix, users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions which may damage a user’s system or limit an participant’s ability to participate in the Promotion. Should any portion of the Promotion be, in ZeptoMetrix’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, time of war, national emergency, accident, dangerous weather conditions, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism, health crisis such as a pandemic or epidemic or other matters beyond ZeptoMetrix’s reasonable control, or other causes which, in the sole opinion of ZeptoMetrix, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play, or submission of entries, or should the Promotion be unable to run as planned for any other reason, as described in these Official Rules, ZeptoMetrix reserves the right in its sole discretion to modify or terminate the Promotion.
