Entamoeba histolytica (Stool Matrix) (1 x 0.5 mL)

A 0.5 mL external run control featuring purified, intact Entamoeba histolytica organisms that have been chemically modified to be non-infectious. This NATtrol™ product is supplied in a synthetic stool diluent to accurately mimic a clinical gastrointestinal specimen.

Functions as a full-process, commutable control for molecular diagnostic assays for Entamoeba histolytica. It is used for routine quality control to monitor the performance of nucleic acid testing procedures, including extraction and amplification, on gastrointestinal pathogen panels.

Refrigerator stable; store at 2 to 8°C. The patented NATtrol™ inactivation process ensures the organisms are non-infectious, providing a safe and reliable control for clinical laboratories.
