Description

Usutu virus (Isolate: ENT MP 1626) is a mosquitoborne flavivirus. It is a small spherical virus with a lipid envelope and is 40-60 nm in diameter with a positivesense RNA genome. Usutu virus (USUV), ENT MP 1626 was isolated from a mosquito (Mansonia aurites) pool in Zika Forest, Entebbe, Uganda in October 1962. Each frozen aliquot contains 1 mL of titered viral culture fluid.

Intended Use

Viral culture fluids are sold as consumable testing materials; propagation or commercialization is prohibited without prior written consent from ZeptoMetrix. The suitability and performance characteristics should be determined by your laboratory for each intended usage. These products are NOT intended for use in the manufacture or processing of injectable products subject to licensure under section 351 of the Public Health Service Act or for any other product intended for administration to humans.
