Description
NATtrol Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 (NATHSV2-0001, NATHSV2-0002, NATHSV2-0003, NATHSV2-0004, and NATHSV2-0005) is formulated with purified, intact viral particles that have been chemically modified to render them non-infectious and refrigerator stable. Each vial contains 1.0 mL of NATtrol HSV-2 in a proprietary matrix at the target concentration.
Intended Use
NATtrol Herpes Simplex Virus Type 2 is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of HSV2 DNA. NATHSV2 can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATHSV2 contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
