OXITEK™ TBARS Test Kit provides a standardized, reproducible assay for screening and monitoring lipid peroxidation. The assay provides important information regarding free radical activity in disease states and can be used for measurement of antioxidant activity of several compounds. If lipoprotein fractions are first acid precipitated from the sample, interfering soluble TBARS are minimized.

What's included: Four vials of thiobarbituric acid, 4 x 50 mL bottle of TBARS diluent 1 (contains acetic acid), 4 x 50 mL bottle of TBARS diluent 2 (contains sodium hydroxide), 30 mL bottle of SDS solution, 20 mL bottle of MDA standard, 100 mL bottle of MDA diluent, and marbles. Supplier Certificate of Analysis (CoA) is included with product shipment.
