Description
A 1 mL frozen aliquot of a pure, titered culture of a recombinant Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain engineered with a Cryptosporidium parvum-specific gene. This live organism provides a safe, non-pathogenic, whole-process control for molecular assays.
Intended Use
Designed as a full-process external control for the molecular detection of Cryptosporidium parvum. It validates the entire testing workflow, including the critical steps of DNA extraction, amplification, and detection, and is used to establish the assay's limit of detection (LOD).
