West Nile Virus (WNV) Strain: NY 2001-6263 (10,000 cp/mL) (1 mL)

NATtrol™ West Nile Virus (NATWNV-0001, NATWNV- 0002, NATWNV-0003, NATWNV-0004, and NATWNV- 0005) is formulated with purified, intact virus particles that have been chemically modified to render them noninfectious and refrigerator stable. Each vial contains 1.0 mL of WNV NATtrol™ at target concentrations. NATWNV is supplied in a purified protein matrix that mimics the composition of a true clinical specimen.

NATtrol™ West Nile Virus is designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of WNV RNA. NATWNV can also be used for validation of clinical assays, development of diagnostic tests and training of laboratory personnel. NATWNV contains intact virus and should be run in a manner identical to that used for clinical specimens.
