Description
ZeptoMetrix external controls have demonstrated performance on a variety of molecular assays. The product has been tested with the Hologic® Panther Fusion® system or a real-time PCR thermal cycler and provides the expected results, however performance characteristics must be established by the end user. NATtrol Parainfluenza Virus External Control includes Parainfluenza Virus types 1, 2, 3, and 4B.

Intended Use
NATtrol™ Parainfluenza Virus Control is a full process control designed to evaluate the performance of nucleic acid tests for determination of the presence of Parainfluenza Types 1, 2, 3, and 4 RNA. NATPIV-ERC can also be used for quality control of clinical assays and training of laboratory personnel. NATPIV-ERC contains intact viral particles and should be run in a manner similar to that used for clinical specimens.
