Detect Simian Immunodeficiency Virus (SIV) p27 antigen in research specimens, including cell culture media.

RETRO-TEK™ SIV p27 Antigen ELISA Kit features microplate wells coated with monoclonal antibody for the p27 gag gene product of SIV. Viral antigen is captured onto the immobilized antibody during incubation which then reacts with a higher-titer polyclonal anti-SIV antibody conjugated with biotin. After incubation with streptavidin peroxidase, bound enzyme reacts with the substrate and color begins to develop. The amount of SIV p27 antigen present in the specimen is proportional to the optical density.
